Switching to BT Broadband
The first thing to do when switching is to contact your broadband supplier in order to request your MAC Code. By law, your broadband supplier has to give you this within 5 working days of your request being received. When requesting your MAC Code, you will need information such as your customer reference number or landline number. This is so that your identity and account can be identified easily.

Primarily, get in touch with your existing network provider, BT on 0870 0102 462 and ask for your BT MAC code. BT is legally obliged give you your MAC code BT and this needs to be delivered to you within 5 days of your request being received. Have your customer reference number or landline ready in order to establish your account details when you contact BT.
Once your BT broadband MAC has been received, you then need to find your new broadband package which suits your requirements, then order your package online.
